#239: Dwellings of Eldervale

Von: Pickaxe
22. November 2022 um 12:00
Say what you want about the evils of filthy lucre, but I find it amazing how managers turn communitarian and high-minded when it comes to fair remuneration. "Don't you believe in the project?" "Aren't you committed to the team?" et al get deployed all the time when people want to, you know, get compensated for their work. One can't help but notice that racialized workers and women get subjected to such nonsense at a higher-than-average rate. Volunteerism is noble and good, but stiffing workers is not. When someone is trying to elide the difference, you can bet that they're up to something.

Episode 217: Marvel Zombies, ISS Vanguard, Concordia

22. November 2022 um 00:40

In this episode Def, Mitch and Mitch talk all things games, including  Dice Realms, Rococo, Rustling Leaves, and QE. In Sizzling Games, Mike has been helping his hungry heroes, Mitch has been reigning over Roman regions, and Def got seriously sucked into some sci-fi scenarios.

We also recap last week's Question of the Pod: What is the oldest game in your collection that still hits the table? Thanks to everyone who contributed and shared their experiences with us on Discord and the Facebook Community.

Finally, in Swear An Oath, Mike played Founders of Teotihuacan, Mitch played Spire's End: Hildegard and Fleet: The Dice Game, and Def played Cerebria. New oaths include teaching Northguard: Uncharted Lands (Mike), Wasteland Express Delivery Service (Mitch), Undaunted: North Africa (Def).
